A weekly nugget or two of pain science news and ideas for patients and pros, usually 400–1000 words. The blog is the “director’s commentary” on the core content of PainScience.com: a library of major articles and books about common painful problems and popular treatments. See the blog archives or updates for the whole site.

I’ve added an audio version of my main pain science article to my collection of audio. What makes that article stand out, I hope, is some interesting ideas and perspective on “mind over pain.” Too many other sources tease people with the tantalizing idea that it is possible to treat pain with the mind, but fail to explain exactly how. I get quite specific about what’s realistic and practical.

Audio articles are exclusively available as a perk for my boxed set customers (plus any visually impaired reader). I also extended the one about my trigger point doubts, keeping up with major recent updates to the written version.
