Can we ignore the source, rather than considering it?

Consider the source? I can hardly help it! Social animals that we are, we’re wired to “consider the source,” and it’s an illuminating, never-ending exercise to strive to ignore it… and just focus on the ideas.

How influenced by “the source” do you reckon are you? Rather than whatever nonsense/genius comes out of it?

A good question to ask ourselves repeatedly over the years.
