A weekly nugget or two of pain science news and ideas for patients and pros, usually 400–1000 words. The blog is the “director’s commentary” on the core content of PainScience.com: a library of major articles and books about common painful problems and popular treatments. Swim England is all about promoting swimming, so it’s hardly an unbiased source on this topic, but I don’t really doubt the findings of the report they commissioned:

The report particularly highlights the benefits of swimming and aquatic activities for people with mental health concerns or problems with their joints and muscles.

Or maybe a little doubt, because a 2014 review of aquatic therapy for miscellaneous musculoskeletal problems concluded it was no better than dry rehab. Hmm.
