You know how people often wait until after a breakup to say, “I didn’t really like her/him”? I got some of that about the old domain name, “SaveYourself.ca.”

I changed from “SaveYourself.ca” to “PainScience.com” in late 2014 (rather disastrously). Amazingly, SaveYourself.ca still comes up on a semi-regular basis. I still get email for and about that domain. There are still tens of thousands of links to it (all dutifully redirected to PainScience.com). Even good friends forget the change: when checking before sending me an email, they will say, “Paul at save-yourself dot ca?” And then, when reminded that SaveYourself.ca is long dead, sometimes I get this: “Oh right. Yeah, I never really liked that old name.”

If only you had said so at the time!
