Being wrong is popular
Weekly nuggets of pain science news and insight, usually 100-300 words, with the occasional longer post. The blog is the “director’s commentary” on the core content of PainScience.com: a library of major articles and books about common painful problems and popular treatments. See the blog archives or updates for the whole site.
I have really noticed this in my publishing career: self-effacing mea culpa blog posts are always super popular... but I routinely get vilified for (correctly) calling bullshit. (This suggests an effective strategy for blogging success: be wrong a lot, admit it a lot!)It’s easy to win forgiveness for being wrong; being right is what gets you into real trouble.
