“84% of Mexican hand sanitizers toxic or flawed.” EIGHTY-FOUR PERCENT?! The FDA is a bit freaked out: “This is the first time in the agency’s history that it has issued a countrywide import alert for any category of drug product.”
Note that even effective, non-toxic hand-sanitizers have limits! The toxic thing is horrifying, but hand sanitizers that simply don’t work, during a pandemic, is another kind of horrifying.
