Can you “reset the vagus nerve”?

Ooh, I should do that. My “check vagus” light has been nagging me for weeks now! Always keep the vagus nerve inflated to about 25-30 PSI, and periodically check for signs of uneven wear. Annual defragging wouldn’t hurt either.

🙄 Nope, you can’t reset the vague nerve. They are not “resettable” in any meaningful sense.

However, I will soon get into this topic less sarcastically: I am working on a post about deep slow breathing, heart rate variability, and polyvagal theory. Stay tuned for that.!
