Weekly nuggets of pain science news and insight, usually 100-300 words, with the occasional longer post. You’re probably not the only one! COVID science doesn’t have much to with chronic pain, and I have almost no opportunities to connect the two topics. But here’s one: a new study suggests that not only are healthcare workers getting headaches, but “most” of them are. Not exactly rigorous data — basically just a formal survey — but 90% of “with pre-existing headache diagnosis either ‘agreed’ or ‘strongly agreed’ that the increased PPE usage had affected the control of their background headaches.”

There could be confounding factors, of course. Might be some other stressors involved.
