How is PainScience.com like Chernobyl?

This is a good, funny example of dumbing down complex scientific ideas — which is what I try to do for a living, just with healthcare information.

The equivalent conversation about pain science:

Nope, sorry.

Hm, ok. Long ago, it seemed clear that getting injured was always painful…

Ok…

And now we know that sometimes we can hurt without an injury!

Oh no!

Yeah, pain is weird.
