Detailed guides to painful problems, treatments & more

Good to Go

Weekly nuggets of pain science news and insight, usually 100-300 words, with the occasional longer post. The blog is the “director’s commentary” on the core content of PainScience.com: a library of major articles and books about common painful problems and popular treatments. See the blog archives or updates for the whole site.

Terrific new book [Amazon] from Christie Aschwanden that I can’t wait to read:

Book cover for Good To Go.

Good to Go: What the Athlete in All of Us Can Learn from the Strange Science of Recovery

I think it’s probably like a large percentage of PainScience.com artfully distilled into book form. Christie picked my brain a bit while she was working on it, and I’m delighted to have contributed at least a couple ideas. So did many other experts, like Alex Hutchinson, who has already written a more thorough review.
