Can colorful elastic tape applied to your face by certified practitioners reduce your risk of catching the novel coronavirus? No. And that’s a hard no. That article is satire from ScienceBasedMedicine.org, inspired by a lot of inane real-world claims about what can prevent or treat COVID-19. Like the hot yoga business (a Bikram Yoga franchise) that claimed that the C19 virus “cannot survive in the heat.”

Face, meet palm. (But only after vigorously washing palm, of course.)
