Expert Profile: Dr. David Simons
David Simons is a co-author of the “big red books,” the massive two-volume seminal text Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: The Trigger Point Manual (last edition published 1999). He worked closely with his more famous co-author, Dr. Janet Travell, throughout her career. Although elderly, Simons continues to publish on the subject of muscle pain, and remains one of the most respected authority on the subject of myofascial pain syndrome.
